Hoosierteacher introduction
Hi! I'm Jodi from Southern Indiana. I have been teaching off and on for over 20 years. I started out teaching 6th grade. Then I taught Jr. high Language arts for a year, which was the worst year of my life, because I love younger kids. I then switched to kindergarten and finally landed in 3rd grade for 4 years. I took a few years off to raise a family and when I came back, the only job I could get was in special education. I have been a resource teacher for the last 5 years and I love it.
I have 4 kids of my own in all levels of education: my oldest son is a freshman at IU. My daughter is a junior in high school, my middle son is in the 8th grade, and my youngest son is in the 3rd grade. There is never a dull moment around my house!
I am really interested in using more technology in my teaching, and in all the resources available out there.

Greetings!
Hi, Jodi. Yes, I consider myself fortunate to have opportunities to study with Angela. Our district has been very supportive of our efforts. I have a resource teacher who has co-taught two hours a day with me for twelve years. It is a good thing for all of our students when there are two of us to put ideas together for their benefit. Are you able to work with the cooperative teaching model for inclusion for most of your scheduling?
